Teasing master takagi San is a super adorable romance anime and it's on Netflix! It is soo cute I highly recommend it it's TV pg too so it's not inappropriate or anything

right now my fav anime is the disastrous life of saiki k! its super funny and easy to binge watch if u like doing that

sailor moon is long and kinda has a messy timeline but its one of the classics, and bna: brand new animal. both are good action animes with girl leads

kamisama kiss is a good one! It’s shoujo which translates to “girls show” or smth and it’s about this girl who basically becomes a god and has to like manage being a god and school and everything and overall it’s a very cool show!

If you want something a bit more intense/violent a good show I’d recommend is fate stay night unlimited blade works, it’s about a bunch of people that are forced to fight each other to the death for this magic thingo that lets you make a wish and it’s really good!

If you like comedy/slice of life type shows, I definitely recommend Saiki K, K-On, Ouran High School Host Club (super well known classic, it’s also a romance if you’re into that), and Lucky Star

A couple ‘classics’/really well known ones are Death Note, Sailor Moon (I highly recommend this one!!!), JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure (fighting/adventure/shounen, if you’re somewhat easily triggered or don’t like darker topics being handled without much care, please avoid this!! It does have a lot of problematic content too , and Madoka Magica

A couple miscellaneous movies I recommend are A Silent Voice, Weathering With You, Your Name, any Studio Ghibli movie, Words Bubble Up Like Soda Pop, and way more that I can’t remember right now

Some good starter animes that i recommend are death note, madoka magica, lucky star, and soul eater. But once you get more into it i HIGHLY recommend watching the tatami galaxy, or mononoke (not princess mononoke but thats also a good movie). They are both really underrated and have beautiful art styles and they are literally just amazing. The tatami galaxy is only in sub and the voice actors speak really REALLY fast so you should definitely have some experience reading subtitles before watching it lmao.
