Hey!^^ I get my beads and other supplies off of amazon (I'm located in Europe so we don't have stores like target or micheals}

To start with making kandi I really just recommend getting some string and a box of beads, looking up a tutorial on youtube and starting!animal06

I'll include some links to the products I personally use and people who make great tutorials!:
-Rainbow box of beads: https://www.amazon.nl/gp/product/B00KWWMU4U/ref=pp...
-Semi elastic string (you'll last pretty long with this) https://www.amazon.nl/gp/product/B07MTZX8BC/ref=pp...
-Black beads (these are the cheapest option for me><)https://www.amazon.nl/gp/product/B07HK7JHD3/ref=pp...
(If you live somewhere else I recommend looking on sites of your own country but just to give you an idea!^^)

oh btw perler beads you can get in your local craft store (online is also an option ofc! but I get them from physical stores^^)

-old but great tutorials! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCONr-DzzffTbZP3DE...
-another channel that is still active!^^ https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrLHG_Yn4kDOW6ofw...

if you're in the u.s, most craft stores have pony beads and elastic! i suggest cloth-covered elastic if you're just starting out, since it's a lot easier to work with. there's tons of tutorials on youtube on how to follow patterns, i suggest mood kandi and ginger cand-e!
