Tips for school because I’m starting soon

So like most of the teens on here, I spent the entirety of last school year on zoom, which means that in total I haven’t been on campus, in person in middle school yet (I am of age to be on here, last year was my first year but online so it still makes this next school year “new”). Does anyone have any tips of things for like social groups, tips on taking notes, etc. Also to specify this is public school. I start in about 2 weeks so if anyone also has any relatively quick/easy kandi projects I could make by then, that would be nice too (cuffs, singles etc.). Thanks! rainbowsmile

tip that worked for me: stop giving a shit what other people think, its not one of those "just be yourself" things you see on inspirational quotes, I mean it. If other people don't like you that just means they have bad taste or aren't people you should care about anyway. Dress how you want, listen to whatever music you want, hang out with the people you want and never ditch them for popularity, just stop caring what people think of you and enjoy yourself.

hi hi! I’m going into my last year of middle and I’ve really liked it so far! I honestly have liked it better than elementary,,, idk lol! here are some things I’ve learned!

try not to get too behind on your work. it piles up extremely quick, but also listen to your body. if you need a mental health break, take one.

if your school have clubs, I recommend joining one! it’s a great way to make friends.

you don’t need a million friends (unless you want them lol) I’ve found I’m happiest having a few really close friends!

literally just stay out of drama. it’s extremely stupid and never ends well.

if you need help or don’t understand, please ask for help. I have anxiety and this is hard for me, but it always helps my grades and overall understanding of the subject

that’s all I got right now, and I know it’ll be great!!

Middle school was always really anxiety-inducing for me, but I learned a lot from it. Looking back I just wish I was my authentic self and didn't let people get to me. Wear your kandi, wear the clothes you want to wear, do anything that expresses who you truly are and you can make authentic connections through that and find people who love you for who you are! I hope your last year of middle school is enjoyable and you make lots of friends. happy

I’m not sure what grade I’m in for the US, but I think it’s the last year of middle school or smth and my tip with schoolwork and stuff is set out your notes in a way that is nice to look at. I’m not kidding, it helps me loads in being able to properly read my notes and somewhat understand what they actually say. Hope your first year of middle school goes well :3
