is it okay to sell people's patterns?

  1. i was scrolling on etsy when i found somebody was selling a cuff pattern i'd found, and the seller was also selling other cuff patterns from this site. the seller's username was different fron the original pattern maker's name. is this okay? i doubt they got the pattern maker's permission :/ idk i feel like its not fair to profit off of something that's sort if someone else's work shrug

Sorry, you are unable to reply. If the thread is still open, you might have been blocked from commenting due to spam or abuse, or we might not have been able to verify that you are a real account. Try updating your profile and interacting more on the site. There are greater restrictions on forum comments due to spam. Spam comments will still not be published, even for verified accounts

i agree, they should get permission or literally just make your own pattern

i think it's fine to sell your OWN pattern, or at least get permission from the owner to use it. i'm pretty sure that's just plagurism, to profit off of someone else's work while claiming it as your own.
