dollar tree has really good string! if you don't have dt's where you like dollar general has some good string too, it comes in a little bag.

it depends on what you're doing! but just a quick rundown:
Clear Stretchy String - Almost invisible (people can see your beads clearer, less distracting, etc.) but can be slippery, and breaks down after 3-5 years.
Elastic Cord String - a bit hardier, lasts longer, but is more visible. comes in a variety of colors.
some people also use non-stretching, normal string for certain projects. it varies! ='w'=

it depends on what youre making but i use this string. nothing has broken, its very stretchy, and great quality
