How to attach mlp figures on kandi?

I wanna put some mlp figurines on some kandi, but i cant figure out how to anybody have any tips?

I've seen people tie ribbon through their tails? that's for hard plastic ponies, though.
you could also hot glue them (be very careful with it, it can burn!), or tie them on with a slip knot (looks kind of like a lasso and works the same way).
