All these trading questions

I'm not sure what to do about all these trading questions. I'm approving them for now, but I want you all to know that I don't recommend that people trade on this website. It doesn't currently use an encrypted connection, and it's dangerous to exchange addresses with strangers on the internet. If you're going to do it anyway, you should use a P.O. box if possible. Another problem is scamming; it's not uncommon for people to scam others out of kandi. So any trading you do on this site is at your own risk. I cannot be held responsible if the person you're trading with scams you or comes to your house and kills you. Thanks

Sorry, you are unable to reply. If the thread is still open, you might have been blocked from commenting due to spam or abuse, or we might not have been able to verify that you are a real account. Try updating your profile and interacting more on the site. There are greater restrictions on forum comments due to spam. Spam comments will still not be published, even for verified accounts

that last part was a bit harsh crumpet, but it made me giggle, even at the reality of it. I have noticed that with trading ppl give P.O.boxes, or their parent's work address. I also think you should just keep allowing the trading questions because some people live in an area where there are no raves to trade at or there are no others around to trade with. As u said, trading is at the person's own risk. But, is there any way to put trading questions in a separate page or something cuz it starts getting annoying when u come to answer questions and all u see is "trade?".

Lol, yeah I honestly don't think anyone is going to be killed. Yeah, I could make a separate trading forum. I feel like it's a slippery slope though... I've always tried to avoid ripping off KandiTrade. I could easily add "Trader Reviews" or something too, but I don't want to rip them off :/

it's ur job to make this site as safe as possible, if that's what u feel is safe, then do it....but ur right the "trader review" could cause a lot of trouble

there is a whole website dedicated to trading kandi that people could use instead of this website, just tell them to join www.kanditrade.net/board they set rules and guidelines and such to protect the members and hold contests and such as well

Yeah, KandiTrade is safer for trading, but this site has more active members so there are more people to trade with. I have recommended KandiTrade to many people on here, but I don't want to officially start sending everyone there because that would be a really foolish thing to do as a webmaster. Here, go to this site instead! Lol.

Yeah, I really don't condone trading on here either. Especially since without moderation we don't know if the people even should be giving out their addresses. Because honestly I think trading (online) should only be able to be done by people over 18

From now on I will be deleting all trading questions, because people have decided to start blaming me for getting scammed (even for trades that weren't set up through the questions). I suppose that was inevitable. I'm not going to monitor everyone's messages for trade requests (yet) but that might become necessary. There are really only two options: 1) Allow and monitor trades, 2) Stop all trades. 2 seems like the best option to me.

i really don't think that monitoring the messages are fair. I do all my trading that way cuz there is no one near me. I do think that the ppl who are blaming u should be kicked off for their own stupidity

But if you really want to trade online there is an entire site dedicated to it. This is a patterns website, not a trading one.
