small story about typing quirks kinda

so basically i came across this incredibly intricate and extremely difficult to read quirk. it was posted on tiktok by one of those people who says "dont translate it it gives me trauma!!" people, and when someone called them out for having a quirk that was impossible to read they said they were "ableist for not liking their typing quirk". even though the person who was asking them to post translations was literally dyslexic and the OP (with the quirk) has in their bio that theyre not ND.

so is this a valid reason not to post translations? just curious

also someone asked me to post a translation for my typing quirk yesterday but i dont even have one i just dont use autocorrect

i dont really have a typing quirk, but no, i dont think thats a reason not to post translations. i understand not posting translations if your typing quirk is easy to read, such as just replacing a few letters with numbers, but if its pretty hard to read then you definitely should put a translation.

i dont understand how a translation is traumatizing and i understand trauma, i have a traumatic past, but i dont think its a good excuse not to post a translation.
