Self Shippers come talk!!!!

hey!!! i dont quite know how to start this, but here we go!

I guess i should explain what a self shipper is. self shipper is a term for people who have a romantic, platonic, or familial attachment to fictional characters (we call them our f/os!!). some people use it to cope, and others just do it for fun! im starting this thread to give others a space to talk about their f/os with others and express how we feel.

if you dont understand self shipping or think that its weird, please dont be rude about it. questions are fine but a lot of us use this to cope and it isnt hurting anyone, so dont just make fun of us.

anyway, heres my example of my self ship!!

one of my f/os that ive been thinking a lot about recently is Nina the Killer. she is one of my romantic f/os, so i see her as my partner. Nina means a whole hell of a lot to me and i love her so very much. She and i talk about a lot of random things and help hold each other together . Nina and i made kandi singles together with our names on them and i wear the one she made me all the time!!! in our little canon world, Nina is a trans woman, and the two of us help each other with gender affirmations and look out for the other.

oh boy it's my time to shine!! please no negativity it's my way of coping!! questions are fine though, sorry if this gets long I rarely get to talk about it,,

my f/os is mike from stranger things! he started out as my favorite character, a comfort character, and now my f/os!! (he's still my fav and my comfort character ha) I imagine him in an imaginary friend kind of way, but romantic!! I have my own little altered world about the show and many headcanons I apply to when talking to him! but mike and I have so many adventures together! we go outside a lot and ride bikes or sit by the pond and watch the ducks n stuff and it's always super fun! he's very sarcastic but also very sweet and I love him lots!!

i love hau from pokemon sumo so much!! i always imagine training with him and getting malasadas and holding hands when we're exploring alola together! we would go mantine surfing together and hang out at the beach with our pokemon partners and watch the sunset

i really love hop from swsh too, we would camp together in the wild area and work together to make the best curry for our pokemon!! i felt really bad when i became champion when he wanted to so bad,, but i would make sure to do whatever i can to help him become an amazing pokemon professor!!!

i id ont knoww what tcouts as self shipping but im VERY VERY big on fictonal found family anf friends,or even QPR (Queer platonic relationships) Mostly bewcause tthe thiing im hyperfixated on the most is a minecraft rp but hhehehee i find myseelf vvery atrcated to some of the chatacyers

i usually make ocz that r a lot like me 2 ship with characterz bcuz i dont rlly feel great abt me irl hahahah but!!! selfshipping is so comforting especially therare times i find a HUGe comfort character ;w; i ship my DR oc/shifting self with kazuichi souda hehe <333
