Cosplayers: whats the weirdest experience you've ever encountered

mine was when i was cosplaying as Hamiko Toga from my hero academia, my very first time cosplaying, so i was casually walking around the mall and i walked into hot topic, someone came to greet me, freaked out and said "OMG! my boss would love your outfit." and she grabbed my wrist and dragged me to the manager, the manager was just like"oh, cool, love the outfit." and the lady had let go of my wrist and walked off so i was just standing there all awkwardly, but, yeah thats my crazy encounter, now that i type it its not as scary as it was when it was happening, but hear me out, im and introverted weeb that sits in her room listening to kpop making kandi, it was very scary in the moment okay? xD

i once went out in full momoni from super danganronpa two, head to toe in accessories, cosplay, just,,, crazy yet monomi. this group of girl came out to me and asked if I was wearing a wig, I said yes and then they just smiled, walking off. I don't know why they wanted to know If I was wearing a wig but,,, idk.

at my first con, i was cosplay amu himori from shugo chara, and my dad was looking up a map. we were standing kinda close to these other cosplayers and they thought that I wanted a picture so now I just have a picture of me awkwardly standing next to a kaede akamatsu cosplayer lol (I was literally ten by the way lol)

Whenever Im dressed as Deku or Todoroki from My hero Acadamia I always get fangirls coming up to me and like...ask me for pictures and like flip out. I had one scream at me from across the mall and like run over, I swear to you she would have started foaming at the mouth if i had quoted Todoroki (which I was cosplaying at the time.) Its not really weird most of the time its just funny. But there are those few uncomfortable situations...

I used to cosplay as Illumi from Hunter x Hunter and i went to target. Some kid kept looking at me, he pointed at me and i could hear that he asked his mom why i looked like that. For about the whole time i was at the store, he kept looking at me.

i was at a hunting store with my mom and i was dressed as monika and a little girl walked up to me and said ¨are you a princes¨ i said yeah and talked with her for a bit

me and my group of friends at their first con were bored sitting in a hallway, so 4 of us got up, held hands, and circled around the 5th friend. later on, 2 fursuiters joined our circle and we actually gathered a small crowd of people recording, laughing, and someone screaming "THIS IS WHY I LOVE CONVENTIONS" it was great, but really weird lol

if anyone was curious, we were cosplaying crona (me), todoroki (friend on the ground), bakugo, uraraka, and the last cosplayed their persona-
