Hi so I would like to try to make a kandi tie with a peyote stitch. I've looked up and seen variations of a kandi tie online, but I'd want it to be completely flat/2d, like how this pattern shows. How exactly would you connect the top part with the longer, bottom part? Or is it one complete stitch from start to finish? Thanks.

make the top and bottom as two different parts. once they're both finished, take your string and weave it through the beads where the two pieces meet/mesh together
