Hii! Short scene hair is super cute. <3 My best tip is lots and lots of layers! If you cut your hair yourself, use a razor comb! If you don't have one or can't get one, hold each chunk you're gonna cut (you can even twist the chunk to blend your layers more), and then close your scissors almost all the way-- then slide them at a diagonal angle to "razor" cut your layers. You can also use an actual razor but that can be dangerous if you haven't practiced! There are some good tutorials on YouTube though for both options. ^^ (You can also make a razor comb at home by hot gluing two combs around a razor blade... I did this way back in middle school lol... -__-; It works in a pinch but be SUPER careful.)

Then when you straighten your hair, twist your wrist upwards a bit at the end of each chunk to make it spike up a little. It's a really good way to exaggerate the layers in your hair, especially if your hair isn't dyed. (Though definitely dye it if you can, it's a really fun way to express yourself and will be super scene!!)

Finally, make sure you have some good hair product! What works is gonna depend on your hair type. I use Gatsby Moving Rubber (Wild Shake is my go-to) which is a hair wax that smells super nice, is totally affordable, and lasts FOREVER-- Seriously each little tub lasts actual years. o_O If you don't have access to hair product like that, I find that hairspraying (or any-product-spraying) your hair upside-down, or even just right side up, and then styling it afterwards works pretty well, but can be damaging! For your hair and for your flat iron. I have burned... so much product onto my flat irons. xD

Sorry this is so long but I hope it helps you or somebody who reads it! <33

i also have short scene hair(growing it out so its more medium-ish) and all i do is blow dry it from the back/bottom of ur hair 2 make it all go 2 the front and make it fluffy and have more volume then straighten it (straighten it everyday if u want the damaged hair look w out dying it) and it looks pretty scene!! if u want a less casual look, tease the f out of ur hair in the back and u can basically just go crazy and make it look however u want

b?l?e?a?c?h? ?y?o?u?r? ?h?a?i?r? ?t?o?o? ?m?u?c?h? ?t?o? ?g?e?t? ?t?h?a?t? ?f?r?a?y?e?d?,? ?d?a?m?a?g?e?d? ?l?o?o?k? after you get out of the shower, blow dry it to the front so it's floofy. Then tease the shit out of it. There's no such thing as too much teasing. Depending on the look you want, you can lightly brush down the top layer of hair so it doesn't look too insane. Then hairspray the fuck out of everything.
