Need Help Please

I am asking for help. I am new to this site and hope that this question has not been asked before. But if it has please let me know where I can find the answers. I have a friend that is partly color blind but really wants to make things with perler beads. I have agreed to sort and number/name the colors of beads for him but he can't see the colors in the patterns either. My question is this. Is there a program out there that can convert color into numbers so it would be like paint by number only with perler beads. Or something else that would help him out. I can do it by hand of course but that would take forever for each pattern and I would like to avoid that if possible. I want to help him feel like he can do it on his own. Any advice would be wonderful. Thank you all that take the time to read this.

you can put numbers on the rows but not beads paint by number style (as of now) sorry. If you would like I could help you convert them to paint by number.

@xX_DarkKitten42_Xx: thank you for taking the time to answer this. that kinda makes me sad and wish that i was a programmer all at the same time. I was going to to take and make a vegeta from dbz or megaman in blues patterns for him to follow to start with. something kinda simple not too big or anything. I appreciate your offer and information.

Can he see differences by shades? Maybe you could try printing out a pattern and only putting one number for each color?? cheer

@vixanna: it would have to be a pattern with different color values then, for example, no bright reds with bright greens, as under sepia, they look the same. It would have to be pale green and deep red in this example.

@kavaltia: That is actually a good idea, I am going to make some monochrome/grayscale patterns. My dad is red green colorblind so he can see blues well but its hard for him to see other colors.
