Can you add extra fuse beads after you've melted some?

I just started working with fuse beads, but the set came with really small boards. Is it possible to add extra beads after some of them have already been melted together?

I'm pretty sure you can as long as they weren't fully melted in the first place

i have before. i just set the beads up how i want on top of some wax paper, put another piece on top of the beads, and just melt the unmelted beads first. then combine it with ur already made creation and just lightly iron it until it sticks together happy hope this helps <3

I am not very good at fuse beads because I am also a beginner but every time I try to do that it ends up ruining the whole thing): SO I just iron the separate pieces and then hot glue them together(:

Fuse beads. They confuse me so badly and take so much time. I envy anyone with the patience to make them xD But yes you can, it just takes a lot of time to line them up. I would follow Tayandrays advice with gluing them together afterwords. Good luckbig grin

If you're trying to melt a large piece in parts look up the "Masking Tape Method" You basically use the tape to pick up what you've already done from the board and move it over or take it off completely. You should also use this method to take your pieces off the pegboard when you iron them to avoid melting the pegs over time and ruining your boards. c: I find that re-ironing already melted beads never looks quite as good as doing this, and leads to a lot more headaches. Hope this helps!

What I've done is melt half a side, realize something's wrong of I'm missing a bead, and then I go through this entire fiasco of trying to add the bead and melt it right. It doesn't work very well for me. If you're missing more than 10 I'd say just redo the perler <_> Btw I make alot of perlers so this happens to me alot.
