What's the most you ever spent on kandi supplies?

I have a pretty shitty job, they give me terrible hours and so this week I only got paid $49. I am guilty for spending way to much on beads and string and all. I went on Amazon and ended up spending $40. Which doesn't seem like a lot, but with my depressing bank account, it is lol

What's the most money you've spent on kandi supplies? What did you buy? I bought around 400-600 feet of elastic string (I love making bracelets) light blue, gray, brown and pink beads.

If its something you enjoy then go do it! Haha! I have spent fortunes on perler beads and boardstongue Also, maybe you could make a bunch of kandi creations and perhaps you could make a little stall or something and sell them, also explain why you are selling them. I hope this helped!rainbowsmilerainbowsmilerainbowsmile

I spent about $160 on perler bead and pony bead supplies and beads. When I see a good sale i go for it and grab some supplies even if i already have some but in the beading world ull never have enough. One of the biggest things i do is save coupons and do the coupons of the week. I don't typically buy any of my supplies online because if i need it then then ill go and get what i need. If the places i have here doesnt have what i need i then order it online. ALWAYS USE COUPONS. Joanne Fabric has really good coupons! rainbowsmile

I spend about $130 a week on beads, but I make large projects (kandi hoods) and sell them . Each hood costs $55 for me to make. And I also buy cool colors I haven’t had before or I restock what I’ve used. I buy about 25,000 beads a week, but I only use 15,000-20,000. I buy string in bulk about 4 times a month. 100 meters each time for $6-8. I like getting cool colors.

My profession is throwing raves on the weekends which is a high intensity and demanding environment when you’re a promoter, but I started spending a lot on beads so I decided the only way I was allowed to spend money on beads was if I made a return on making kandi. Instead of taking from the rave. That way I can spend more money on rave production value (sound, lights, and lasers) and also spend more on kandi.

Sometimes the collecting of supplies is more fun than the process of making kandi. I havent made much in the past year but i still buy beads if I see a good deal. I currently have 15 cases of kandi beads, 6 cases of letter beads, and 3; 39 binned, cases of perler beads, not to mention all the extra goodies, like toys and pendants. I think this collection has cost several $1000.
