Plastic sewing needles

Just out of curiosity, whats the purpose of using plastic sewing needles in kandi? I've watched a few vids & they say that the needle isn't recommended, but very helpful. Mind telling me why that is?

when making things like 3D cuffs, it's much easier with a plastic needle to get onto the beads without the string doing something weird. I have broken a few of my plastic needles, so I recommend a thick metal needle without a sharp tip if you can find some rainbowsmile

They are used for larger creations. It's easier to navigate the string throughout the beads, and it takes less time as opposed to using your hands alone. pink bow

I use "plastic canvas needles". They are metal needles made for sewing plastic canvas projects. They come with blunt or sharp tips, so just make sure you get the blunt tip ones!
