@Basilpepperbean: i'm having trouble making the pattern itself crying i've made patterns in the past, but i'm horrible at freehanding, so I was wondering how other people made their patterns!! like do y'all use a website or anything like that?

@Dizzzydancin: there's a pattern maker on here, actually! just click on the "create a pattern" button and it'll take you to the maker site. just select either generate template or select template and you'll be able to start drawing :]

@Dizzzydancin: i start with an outline of the character,(usually with their most prominent color) just like a big shape of color at first, and then i add details after? and if it needs an outline i make sure to leave a space on the edge of the pattern block while working on the outline so i can add it later.

idk i tend to freehand a lot tho :/

@Dizzzydancin: Im not sure if this will work bc ive never tried it but you can probably print a picture of what you want as a pattern then put the pegboard over it and sort of trace it? (sorry if this doesnt make sense)

Here’s some tips that are helpful first when your done with one put tape on the perler bead and take it off the board (be very careful) don’t iron a perler bead on the board it will warp the board or melt it

@Silly_goober69420: can confirm from experience of not taking pattern2 off the pegboard crying

I would recommend looking up the tape method so you don't warp the pegboards!
