does anyone get any sensory issues when wearing kandi?

so everytime i wear kandi for a few minutes, it irritates me and i have to take them off once it gets bad. the string isn't even that tight as well, it can rest well on my wrist. it honestly is so annoying because i want to wear my cool kandi on my wrists. also i tend to fidget with the kandi once i take them off. 513b39525823e_crying.gif513b39525823e_crying.gif

it's not only kandi as well. i remember owning this one pink unicorn watch back in 2nd grade and i couldn't even wear it for long periods of time without wanting to YANK it off. i just want to know the time dawg 513b3952760e7_sad2.gif513b3952760e7_sad2.gif

lastly i also remember having this cross necklace from like 4th grade, which my grandma gave me, and it annoyed my neck a ton. sometimes i'm glad my brother accidentally broke it because it got too annoying but at the same time my grandma gave it to me so it meant a lot.

i have more issues but since we're talking abt kandi here, im only gonna talk about the neck and wrist area since that's normally where i place my kandi

in conclusion, does anyone also experience this??? i don't wanna be alone 513b39527b090_scared.gif

EDIT: hihihi THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR COMMENTS. i DO have fingerless gloves crafted from socks so i'll try them with kandi once i can find them somewhere. also, the kandi i used to wear was a bit too tight, i'll say that, but the newer cuffs and singles can fit my wrists more and they still irritate me. lastly, i also tried wearing kandi over my long sleeve sweaters but it was a bit difficult and it looked wonky. (the sleeves are oversized lol) anyways, i need to continue making my dandy's world kandi so wish me luck

edit 2: HELP I CAN'T EVEN HANDLE MY FINGERLESS GLOVES. I THINK IT'S THE FABRIC FROM THEM BUT I'LL TRY MANAGINGafsd wdasdfIAE DSJS

to be honest, I dont know. the kandi might be to small on you. if its leaving a red rash and the Kandi fits, I recommend seeing a doctor since it sounds like a medical thing. Something that might work might be wearing long sleeves and Kandi, if that doesn't work than check in with a doctor.

if ur having sensory issues, you can try long fingerless gloves! you can make em pretty easily with some long pairs of socks, you just need scissors :0

if it’s the pressure of it, i don’t think there’s much u can do. but if u just don’t like it touching u directly, wear long sleeve shirts (u can layer w them too) and put the kandi on top of it. u could also DIY arm warmers.

I don't know if this is a sensory issue but I don't wear any Kandi (Or bracelet in general) on my left hand. It feels soooo weird wacko, probably because I'm left handed. Meanwhile I can wear a ton of bracelets on my right arm and it doesn't bother me at all! (unless the beads are itchy or the bracelets go down too far on my arm)

yeah me too brah [handshake emoji] sensory issues are a bitchhhh. and it's so annoying how it's just this one little thing but it can lead to so much distress like damn can't I just wear my Kandi in peace? /siiiigh.

sometimes I've worn them on top of hoodie sleeves but I don't think it's a perfect fix. largely I think I just don't think I want those beads touching my skin, y'know? I've thought about making little sweatbands to wear under them or something, like a coat lining but maybe cushy. there's a lot of room for experimentation in that line of thought. but mostly I just kinda gave up on wearing cuffs.

I think Kandi's just a bit inherently aggravating to wear (provided you have a low threshold for sensory input). a bunch of beads pulling on each other to form a surface, but individually they are all hard, and idk about you but my forearm is not perfectly cylindrical - the bones certainly are not. so always the pressure is going to be unevenly distributed if not digging in.

at least Kandi's pretty cool as just like art pieces in my room I guess.

wow I went off there -- tl;dr you are not alone!!! it's so frustrating, I hear you

yeah me too sometimes. sensory issues happen to almost everyone eventually. I would recommend long sleeves like shirts or sweaters to put underneath. I tend to take off my Kandi at school because then I cant type or write or my wrists get imprinted beads and it just gets uncomfortable. its alright tho some people experience this and some people don't :3
