Fuze board broke

Deleted Account 6/9/2012 10:05 pm 9633

I purchased the Elmer's FuzeArt package and my fuse board melted (I used iron paper so I dont see how this happened) Whenever i put beads on the would slant and fall so I tried melting the board back into place (didnt work) so I tried twisting it and it snapped in half, what can I do when I get my next fuse board to preent this?

Perler brand fuseboards are the best quality ones, I suggest you get a few of those.

I know this is months after this question was asked but here's my advice: 1. Perler brand everything is usually best. Make your next pegboard a Perler brand. 2. Google the "Masking Tape Method" Mirroring your patterns and using the masking tape to remove the beads from the pegboard before you iron prevents your pegs from melting down over time from general use and super accidents like in your case. happy 3. If you do switch from Elmer's to Perler, try not to mix the beads. Hama and Perler brands are usually okay to mix on one project, but lower quality brands tend to melt differently/badly compared to Perler and Hama and can sometimes make a project look bad or even in some cases ruin it completely. Hope your fuse bead endeavors are more successful these days! big grin
