scared to wear kandi to school

i am already bullied, but i wanna wear kandi masks and cuffs to school and dress scenemo like i want. nobody else in my school in scene, emo, or scenemo.

help i wanna wear the kandi i make butim afraid of being called emo as an insult (which like, itz weird cuz its not an insult but its said as an insult so it hurts.)

i feel im kinda already an alien at my school why not jus go for it

late but tots do it !! I starting wearing a lot kandi/ more open fashion my junior year of high school (senior now) . tbh i was one of the first ppl to active wear stuff like that and within the last year ive seen ppl at my school also start dressing more open/ alt in general! you'll stand out more from a crowd and just remember kandi kids are just cool

i dont have this problem becau$e i do an onlien school but you should just do it lol, if someone dosnt like it just remind them that they prob cant make it

I’d say go for it! Nobody else at my school is into kandi, and people always compliment my kandi and sometimes ask me to make them stuff and I actually enjoy making other people things. Somehow I got the nickname “the bead kid” cause nobody really knows what kandi is. If anyone tries to make fun of u just point out that they probably cant make such cool stuff. Not sure how to help with the scenemo thing since we have strict uniforms at my school but yeah

my social anxiety makes it very hard for my to express myself at school, especially since it's filled with a bunch of religious people (im an agnostic) with very different trends going around. also being very openly trans and stuff doesnt really help

i say totally go for it!! i graduated high school last year, but during my time there i dressed in a ton of different alt aesthetics. and in all honesty, people were super nice to me!! i got compliments on my outfits most of the time which really helped boost my confidence

but of course there were always people who didn't really understand it or thought it was weird, but that's okay! you just gotta ignore the rude people and whatnot... their opinions don't matter anyways and dressing up is far too fun to pass up on! besides, they're probably just jealous! so many people told me that they wanted to dress differently, but they just lacked the confidence!

so go for it! life is too short not to have fun and wear what you want!

I say do it!

Im sceneemo / scene and no one else at my school is to, so I been called emo plenty of times (Everyone at my school is ether basic or a Edgar) so I say do it!! Besides, the people who call you names are just a holes who wanna make others to hurt because they cant express themselfs / put you down for interests

So be yourself!
