Elastic string, yes. [= May I suggest 0.7mm, rather than 0.5?

Define string happy yarn = no thread = no small ropeish thing = no wire = no Elastic = YES fishing line = sometimes, but ONLY if you really dont have the elastic and cannot get it and are desperate for string... Like yarn and all of that you could TECHNICALLY use, but they break REALLY easily and do NOT stretch....like I'd REALLY suggest elastic, but if you cant get ahold of it, fishing line is REALLY durable and pretty cheap.... But you would need to make sure that the cuff is big enough that it could fit around your arm without having to stretch.. But I'm still telling you, YOU CANT GO WRONG WITH ELASTIC!!
