Is it just me, or do most alt artists have really stupid names so you feel embarrassed talking about them?? How am i meant to look at someone with full confidence, and say "I really like the song November by Psychedelic Porn Crumpets" I will never live down the shame of telling my friend I like Butthole Surfers. Does anyone else have the curse of good artists with awful names???

this is common amongst ebm/industrial acts as well! which unfortunately for me, happens to be most of what i listen to. there’s armageddon dildos, foetus, meat beat manifesto, revolting cocks and throbbing gristle just to name a few! i’d be lying if i said these didn’t go hard though

my music taste is forever stained by a band called pigeons playing ping pong. songs and bands in the 'jam bands' and punk categories are on thin fucking ice because i'm not about to tell someone i'm listening to a band called umphreys mcgee or bowling for soup
