using the tape method (strips of masking tape over the beads to iron them off of the pegs) will save u sooooo much when it comes to pegboards, and make sure to poke holes in it if you like ironing them flat that way they dont popshocked

Please iron both sides or else the perler will fall apart!! I had to learn the hard way lol tbh confetti

be sure to iron them evenly! and flattening them down with a book or smth until they cool makes them stay flat. and lots of people have problems with their boards melting, but i never have and i iron my perlers so much that you cant see holes on the ironed side.

as a pretty much perler expert:

IRON BOTH SIDES!!!
get a bigggg pegboard if you can !! you can do so many projects on one board, I got this one from michaels! https://www.michaels.com/perler-super-pegboard/10288570.html /safe

on the same note, if you can’t get a big one get clear pegboards!! they don’t melt !! I’ve been using my clear one for two years and it hasn’t melted even a little bit, also you can lay a pattern underneath which is pretty cool

also yes tape method heart bounce and tweezers!!

put a heavy object on your perler project while it cools to prevent it from warping

I also love this bc I have carpet flooring and it picks up beads fast (and pony beads!!) but definitely not a necessity haha https://www.amazon.com/Perler-80-22752-Beads-Sweeper/dp/B008YSOGQE/ref=asc_df_B008YSOGQE/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=167125073467&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=4571191285096722851&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9008161&hvtargid=pla-304153773547&psc=1 /safe
