advice on good types of string

synthes7227 12/11/2022 04:58 am 937

i've been having trouble finding good+reliable string. what i was using awhile ago was pretty week and tended to break more than is enjoyable. the stock i have now is more similar to fishing line, but i've noticed that its comedically hard to actually close knots because of how solid it is. anybody have reliable specific brands or things to look for when buying string?

i live in germany so if you happen to know whats available here its much appreciated heart bounceheart bounce

I honestly hate plastic cord because of the knot thing as well I recommend 1mm cloth covered stretch cord it works wonders and is so much better than that stupid shiny cord I was using at the beginning (also it’s cheap on Amazon)

I have success often with string I find on amazon, just white string in often large spools, like a white elastic? It's got a rough feeling on the outside, i cant remember exactly how its described but yea often I just look on amazon scared

fabrid covered elastic or the string that looks like floss but stretchy is what i use happy

the fabric covered elastic is a lot more reliable but be careful with how tight you pull it or you wont be able to stretch it to put it on

edit: i wouldnt recommend crystal tech string it is so hard to tie off without gluing and even then you still won't know if it'll hold

@slope game The fabric-covered elastic is far more dependable, but you need to exercise caution with how tightly you pull it; otherwise, you won't be able to extend it to put it on.
