Fun shaped beads outside of Hobby Lobby?

zimcore 9/19/2022 01:06 pm 1152

Hi! Like the title says, I don't wanna shop at Hobby Lobby bc of their beliefs and practices, but I really like the shaped beads offered by their brand Treehouse Studio. Does anyone know where I could find more unusual shaped pony beads?? Looking for things like rainbows, snowflakes, etc.

EDIT: found what I was looking for at Michael's by the brand Creatology!

@Caitlynn: I'm alright with online stores! I prefer irl in general bc i don't have to pay shipping and I'm kinda broke haha

for legal reasons do not simply take all the fun beads from hobby lobby and walk out without paying for them.

beadtin has some good ones, but depending where you live shipping can rlly add up. beadtin also sells through amazon, which is where the majority of individually colored pony beads you'll find are probably from, but again, shipping. i get most of my fun beads from Michael's, Joann's, and the dustiest corners of amazon personally.

@SleepinqZzz: There were a few scandals about them, i think one of them was being pro-life? idk, my mom won't really let me shop for beads at many other places besides their store and joanns, so im kinda stuck tbh. I don't really like the cut of their beads either, they dont go with my other ones.

joanns and beadtin are good places, also, i haven't bought from them before, but ponybeadstore seems to be extremely similar to beadtin, just a bit cheaper.

@SleepinqZzz: they are a very Conservative Christian company, which is not bad in and of itself but they've been involved with multiple scandals such as reopening stores during the virus, formerly refusing to sell Hanukah themed items during the holidays, and denying employees birth control. Wikipedia has a whole section on their controversies, I encourage you to check it out.
