Okay so yk that really annoying feeling when you have a ton of beads you can't use on singles bc there's too many?? wanna find a perfect larger pattern for one but can't? I think we should add color categorization, a bit like the pattern type searcher, but with colors, and how many beads!

Out of all the suggestions people have made, this one is quite doable and would work with the old technology this site uses. I would have to write a script that runs through the patterns and names the colors, since the bead colors are stored as hex codes. It might be tricky to decide how many different color names to have, e.g. just blue or blue, turquoise, and aqua? Or whether or not to link the colors to real bead color names, but that gets more complex since there are so many different brands and types of beads.

I also don't know if/when/how I would find the time to do this and it wouldn't be at the top of my todo list. But it's doable. If this post gets enough interest I can add it to my list of features that people want.

omg the amount of times I get beads then for one thing then end up with just a lot of those beads still around, that'd be supa kewl

I think just sticking to basic colors and small variations would work since most people just use whatever they have anyway!! Have a great day!

this is totally a great idea!! sometimes i have low on one color of bead and don't want to use it, or have a large amount of another, and this would be great for situations like that!
