sorry if the question is worded a bit wrong i don't know exactly how to put it. but what i mean is if im making a pattern and it takes up 4 different uses of the pattern maker, is it allowed? im just curious because the uploaded pattern status says " The dimensions of the pattern might be offputting to site users (e.g. it's extremely large) thank you for your help

The pattern maker has a size limit of about 50x50 but you are welcome to use several different panels to make a larger design. The "uploaded pattern status" message that you're referring to just means that if your pattern is too large, the voters might choose not to accept it. This normally only happens when the pattern doesn't need to be that large, like if someone makes a 50x50 pattern that only has a really simple design that could be made smaller. The voters have accepted multi-panel patterns before though, and do frequently accept large patterns as long as they are good quality. So to clarify, you can make patterns as big as you want or put anything you want on them, but it might affect whether or not they're approved onto the site. Look at your pattern and consider whether or not it needs to be that large or not. I hope that helps happy

Unless I'm doing a perler pattern, I usually use the full 50x50 due to mine being bag panels. But any size depending on the pattern and design. I'm still learning all the sizes honestly!
