what are your unpopular opinions about kandi?

ok, perlers look 1000000x better on necklaces than cuffs ^_^

peyote is more comfortable but im better at making multistitch so idek

Perlers that arent fully ironed are really annoying and perlers annoy me too bc of how delicate they are and they can break easily

When youre making kandi for someone, be aware of their wrist size because ive gotten kandi way too big on multiple occasions

Singles are cool because you can put special beads and words on them

And thats all i can think of

a lot of kandi is very repetitive and sorta boring (to me), i prefer the chunky styles of the 90s, a lot of older kandi was much more creative

perlers suck, they are a pain in the butt 2 make (toys r better on kandi anyways)

multistitch is easier than peyote and it is possible to make a comfortable multistitch. then again i can whip out a peyote stitch in less than two hours, get good stinkies /j

ladder stitch is INCREDIBLY underrated, it's a very versatile stitch despite all the string it takes

singles are underrated >:O

odd peyote stitch sucks

cloth covered elastic is the only good string

if u make cuffs with clear string u are Evil /j

necklaces are also underrated, make more necklaces >

Perlers look weird when they are fully ironed

Multi stitch > peyote cuffs

If you aren't making cuffs big enough that make your arms into weapons when you move, what are you doing?/lh /s

I think this is a huge problem in the community as a whole and as an artist its even more frustating when I see it:

Just because someone has created pixel art that you could turn into a perler, doesn't mean you have the right to. If you want to use someones art as a perler, ASK THEM FIRST! its makes me sad that some of the perlers on this site are most likely art stolen from artists online.

i looove it when my perlers r super smooth its so satsfying!! i mean u can iron it all the way and then poke holes in it with a thumbtack or skemthing snd put it on that way jnstead of not melting them all tge way

@captaincutlersghost: YESYESYESYES OK but when perlers have so many holes !!! it makes me SO UNCOMFY but i gotta have some holes if i wanna connect it to my cuffs sighh. and i dont like edm either !!! super agree

@L1M1N4L_5P4CE_2: I have just added a report button to (published) pattern pages. If you see a published (meaning, one that has been approved onto the site) pattern which doesn't seem to work for you, feel free to report it and I will take a look at it. Sometimes invalid patterns or patterns which don't line up can make it through by mistake.
