X-Base Kandi Patterns?

is there any way to make x-base patterns, or anywhere to find them, so people could see patterns made with x base like these?

I think the template would be awsome and if people are really confused, and new to the x-base and need some help I will volunteer to make a picture tutorial using one of the generated patterns as a template to show them what happens.

"Moldycookiez": if theres really no possible way, then maybe you should try to do it on paper? i used to do that for multi cuff patterns. Lol that's what I have to do when I want to use x base with a pattern. I have to draw it out first, and you could see the picture of the template Crumpet posted down there, imagine it on paper, it just gets so messy and hard to draw out.

you could make it your own with your favorite colors and style of pony beads. happy

i think you should really look into it. it would help (at least me) out sooo much! yeah, the template looks a little hectic at first, but if you really look at it, it's easy to see the x base pattern. (i remember seeing multi patterns before i knew how to do them and i thought the same thing!) it couldn't possibly be messier then when i try to draw out x base templates lol. oh, and there is plenty of x-base tutorials on youtube. and even one on here (the start of the 3d cuff). i really think you should consider. happy

This is not possible to add to the rows/cols pattern generator, unfortunately. It could only ever be set widths/heights, like the perler bead shape templates. And a set number of beads between the Xs (I know some people use one, some use 2-3 etc). And because the beads are not in straight lines, the templates come out looking a bit messy/confusing (see attached image). That's not confusing to me, but it might be to people who are new to x-base cuffs. If you don't think that looks bad, I could look into making some fixed width/height templates. The only other problem (I think) is that they could be hard to follow for people who've never tried to do x-base patterns before, and I don't think there are any tutorials anywhere. P.S. BabyRuBear, you should be able to add photos now

"Moldycookiez": maybe there will be an upgrade to the pattern maker? thanks for replying, although i was trying to delete this beacuse it wouldn't let me post photos to show for examples. i've done x-base things with hearts, stripes, zig zags, and other things and i think people should know that you can do alot of fun patterns with x-base too. of course, not detailed, just basic patterns. tongue
