When Making "Cut Outs" from a Pattern.

I don't have a better word to describe it so I call them cut outs. I made one cut out but it was fairly easy to make since there wasn't a lot of odd shapes or anything to it. For more I guess you would say complex cut outs, what are some good pointers to keep in mind when making them?

The way i do this is to look at the pattern and divide it into separate pieces like head then the body do it by little pieces don't try to do one BIG one bc you can mess up take a look at my Poliwhirl i made (the feet are made separately and so are the hands all i did was stitch everything back up together (:

People here call them peyote stitches, peyote charms or even just peyotes happy cut out is actually more descriptive though
