best way to move beads...

Ok, so I'm moving soon, and it might possibly be a long distance, so I was wondering what the best method of moving my boxes of beads without having them spill in the moving van/car/etc. Some of the boxes have lids but a few don't and some are in open bags...

I think boxing everything up and a healthy dose of tape should do the job. I also put my beads in glass tea bottles or jars. It looks neat in a bedroom and convenient for taking them place to place.

I keep my entire bead supplies in a large duffle bag. All my beads are in tubberware and collected my brother's jam and jelly jars instead of recycling them

@Crumpet: I would do that, but half my boxes are lidless and broken....

When I moved from California to England I kept my beads in their original tubs and taped all the drawers in place, then wrapped the tubs in thick brown paper like a present.

The way I move my beads (and this is only good if you have the time) but I put the beads in Organza bags and pack them with the empty boxes into a big cardboard box or storage container. It works really well for me, but you do need the time.

A big storage tub to put everything into and closed containers for everything that's open is probably your best bet
