anytime i make any sort of charm like lizards, frogs, or opossums using the ladder stitch(?), they always end up jumbled up like this (the top two images)? im wondering if theres any way to avoid this or stop it from happening. of course, i can flatten it out to be like the 3rd photo, but it is very annoying and frustrating especially when im using them as keychains because they almost immediately go back to being jumbled
