anytime i make any sort of charm like lizards, frogs, or opossums using the ladder stitch(?), they always end up jumbled up like this (the top two images)? im wondering if theres any way to avoid this or stop it from happening. of course, i can flatten it out to be like the 3rd photo, but it is very annoying and frustrating especially when im using them as keychains because they almost immediately go back to being jumbled2.gif

maybe try loosening the string a bit? If it’s too tight it causes the beads to bunch up. And make sure it’s like not too tight in one area and looser in another!

stretch it out pull the beads down then streach the beads out again

it could be inconsistent tension of the string, but i’m not too sure either :[
