I can see my string on my cuffs?

Hi 1.gif so I've been using 1mm clothed elastic cord from bead landing. I like it a lot but the only thing that bugs me is that I always see the string on my cuffs. But it's weird because some times I can hardly see it and sometimes it's totally obvious. Is there better string to use? Or can I prevent this somehow? Even when I pull the string tight I can still see it, it drives me crazy 10.gif

Watch this to see a good comparison of plastic-like/rubber string (Bead n Stretch / Stretch Magic) and cloth elastic string: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Heti6wkknhs&t=1m5s She made the same bracelet with each kind of string, and the difference is very clear. If you are careful, don't wear the kandi to raves very often, and your knots are tight your kandi will still last a while. But trust me, over a period of several years, plastic string Kandi doesn't last. It stretches out or snaps. I can't wear any clear string Kandi older than about 3-4 years, and much of it has snapped before then sad I don't know any hardcore kandi kids (ravers) in California who've been raving for many years that use plastic clear string. I'm sure there are some who do, but all of the ones I've traded with use elastic because it lasts longer. I wasted about a year using Stretch Magic and I really wish someone had warned me sooner. That's why I try to warn people about this. But it's just friendly advice. If people are happy with clear string and it works for them, that's great.

Yeah, it's a trade off because most plastic cord snaps more easily. Personally I would rather see the string and have cuffs that are strong. But if it bothers you that much, try some clear and see how it goes.

I have never had this problem with fabric elastic string so I wouldnt know how you help you, but I know its will last way longer then using clear stretch string, that shit sucks

with using cloth covered string, there rly is no way to stop it from showing. if you can try tucking in knots and such but it won't do much good. the best way to avoid seeing the string is to use clear elastic cord

Just use clear elastic, thats never shows.
