omg i AM going to take this as an opportunity to infodump about my rich white people hbo show so apologies in advance but ive been really into succession lately and ive especially been thinking about tom and shiv's relationship a lot. tom loves shiv, and shiv does love tom but not in the way he needs. shiv loves tom because hes pathetic and weak, hes never going to abandon her because he knows shes too good for him, and shiv knows it too. she settled for tom because she knows he wont leave no matter how shallow or cold she is. shes incapable of loving him the way he loves her but she cant lose him, because in some way she does love him, she loves him as much as she can love another person. she loves how he loves her. their dynamic makes me want to scream and cry and throw up i LOVE THEM.

WHICH BRINGS ME TO ANOTHER THOUGHT I HAVE. I REALLY CANNOT STAND THE WAY PEOPLE IN THE SUCCESSION FANDOM TALK ABOUT SHIV. ive seen so many people talk about how they hate her because shes manipulative and mean and a bitch as if every other male character on the show isnt the SAME EXACT WAY. everyone on succession is a terrible person thats the POINT. to be fair i do call kendall my poor little meow meow BUT I LIKE SHIV TOO !!! shiv is a bitch and i love her for it. its so painfully obvious how misogynistic succession fans are when they talk about shiv -__-

idk this is just a weird story from school, i have a lot more, but this is the most recent one. content warning for sexual-ish things?

so a few days ago, my friend and i were walking to math from orchestra, and another kid from our orchestra class, and my friend who was in band class was behind us. for context, the other kid from orchestra (who i will call c) is known for saying really weird and sexual things (about other people sometimes, but not often), and the kid from band (who i will call j) said "oh, are you the one who calls aubrey (me lol) those really weird things??" and then c proceeds to try to stick his violin up j's butt, and starts chasing him down the hallway. my friend and i were just there, standing still and trying to take in what had just happened.
