ive heard that the boyfriends webtoon is a bad one, but i really like reading it and no one has giving me a good reason to stop. can anyone tell me why its so bad or why i shouldnt read it?

its like the author is trying to say the polyam ppl are just sex crazies who get into relationships too fast

@bloodbag: how does it give a bad rep? they like, all communicate w each other n care about one another? isnt that how polyam relationships r meant to work? correct me if im wrong cuz i rly dont know, ive been in toxic polyams before n theirs doesnt seem to be bad but yeah

also i only read like, half of it ig? i read what was up already before it became an original

@elliotlovesmel: while some people do fall into stereotypes its not good to represent EVERYONE that way. the author is LGBT and polyam but isnt every letter of the LGBT, if you catch my drift? they cant make stereotype jokes about a community theyre not apart of - correct me if im wrong but dont they identify as queer? so they have no say on gay, bi, pan, lesbian, ace, (etc.) stereotypes. feeding into them causes more bad then good. also the only trans character is glossed over like its nothing,,

@bloodbag: i dont think that people understand that some lgbtq people do fit the stereotype, like whether or not you like or agree with the stereotype, some people like myself do tend to fit it. also like the author is polyam and part of the lgbtq community so i think they can choose to represent it however they see fit since its part of them ig ?? correct me if im wrong!!

I haven’t read it but I’ve heard that people don’t like it because they think it’s like a gay and poly stereotype stuff but it’s actually written by a poly and lgbtq author so I think that argument taht it’s bad is mostly by people who just see the ads and think taht
