Anyone else on here been affected by Hurricane Sandy? I just regained power a few hours ago and I'm curious to see other peoples' experiences.

I live in New York and where I live, we're only losing power and the wind knocked things all over. There were maybe 6 fires in my town. The city is where the damage really is.

I live out by chicago and believe it or not, we r getting hit by it too. of coarse it has died down a great deal by the time it hits here, but lake Michigan has had horrid tides because of the winds. the storm is also suppose to bring snow out our way tomorrow, halloween night. idk if you have ever been out here, but if you have you now how much snow in chicago sux. it's wet, heavy, dirty, and full of acids from the polluted air. it's not safe to play in either.....but i do it anyway
