Copying Designs to Designer?

Deleted Account 10/29/2012 04:07 pm 1391

I saw a cute design that I wanted to change a bit but it wouldn't load to the designer. I've tried with several designs and none have worked. It also seems like all the designs "need to be fixed" Is there something wrong with the site?

Sorry, I forgot to comment back lol. Guanwen, you should be able to copy that pattern into your account now. I tried it and it worked for me.

guanwen, copying designs to the designer is working and should be instant, but there is an issue with that particular pattern because it was modified since it was first uploaded. I'm working on resolving it and will post another comment when I'm done.

is this still an issue and how long do patterns take to copy? http://kandipatterns.com/patterns/characters/v-for-vendetta-12162 I'm trying with this one and it isn't working or do I have to wait about 5 min. or somethin?

I did a quick investigation and I think there is in fact something preventing patterns from being copied. I will fix it within the next 12-24 hours and then you can try copying them again.

Well, the site sucks, but I'm currently redoing the whole thing and the new one will work a lot better. Let me explain though: you can only copy patterns into the designer that were made in the designer. The shiny-looking patterns weren't made in the designer (the designer didn't exist back then), so you can't copy them. There's nothing that can be done about that. If you tried to load a non-shiny one and that didn't work, give me the URL(s) and I will check into it because there could be something else going on. As for the red warning, the warning doesn't actually apply to many of the patterns, but I've left it on all of them until I'm sure they're all correct. In other words, don't worry about it. Just double check that the bead counts seem reasonable before starting a pattern happy
