Okay sooo when we get home i wanna give the body 1-2 nose piercings (By 2 i mean 1 in each nostril) and i plan on asking our mom if we can first and if she says no i'll probably pierce an ear. But anyway, to the people who have a lot of piercings or people who pierce themselves or other people, do y'all have any tips?

Update: we didn't end up doing it because we finished a kandi piece, got lazy, and didn't feel like shoving a needle through our nose.

Please get it done professionally. Cartilage piercings are a lot more serious than lobe piercings and are finicky and difficult to heal. If it gets infected things can go very wrong and it's not worth the complications. ( I have an industrial )

I wouldn't recommend it but if you absolutely insist, here are some tips.

1. use something to numb it, even just a little bit of rubbing alcohol. it won't numb it completely but it will definitely help

2. Make sure to keep the area clean after piercing

3. start with a ring/stud you're okay sticking with for a while, as you're not going to be able to change it for a while. I'd also recommend using a stud instead of a ring to start with, its a little easier to maintain and causes slightly less discomfort

yeah never do anything like tattoos or piercings at home. It's extremely dangerous and the risk of it being bad is extremely high. It's better to wait till you are able to get it done by someone trained bc trust me an infected piercing is one of the worst things to go through

no plz plz PLEASE dont do that. it's rlly dangerous, one wrong move and you could get seriously injured or get an infection. it's better to just get pierced professionally. /srs

please do not do any kind of body modifications at home by yourself. get a professional to do it in a sterilized facility. if you aren't old enough for that, you aren't old enough to safely perform this kind of thing on yourself. infections from diy tattoos and piercings are no joke and can result in chunks of ear/finger/etc needing to be amputated, and it won't grow back.

If your not gonna do it urself tho still do lots and lots of research and don't use things like rubbing alcohol or peroxide to clean and disinfect the piercing use specific cleaner (plz lol)

I don't know if you're implying you want to do the piercings yourself at home but if you are than the only tip I can give you is not to do that lol. I'd definitely wait until you have the chance and money to get it done professionally ! It's safer and more sterile, a lot of things can go wrong doing piercings at home.
