How do you sew cloth to kandi?

For instance, Ive seen kandi backpacks with cloth inner lining or a kandi backback with a zipper sewn on. How? and has anyone made/found a video tutorial for doing this? if not, could you make me one? xD

sorry if I sound dumb. I think I can picture how to do it now. and yeah, sewing machine sounds very bad. thats all I use when I sew so thats just the first think I thought of, haha!
