BROO I’ve been hyperfixated on tally hall (again) for like a week and I wanna stop listening to them cause it’s genuinely affecting me (not super negatively or anything but still) but their music is also really good like Variations on a cloud makes me stim and the “these days it’s hard to find friends but opportunities bend” part with the two voices (joe and rob btw) singing different lyrics makes my brain feel scrambled but in a good way and the song also has references to Isle Unto Thyself from Hawaii Part II where it uses the same instrumental and rhythm and the same with Ruler of Everything (from their second album good and evil) and it has the same instrumental and they use some of the same lyrics too but instead of saying “do you like how my face disintegrates into chalk” it’s “do you like how my face has learned to tick like a clock” and there’s a bunch more but I should really stop infodumping rn because I have stuff to do
