depends really, it was ok for me

u get medicated if ur not already, most of your time is spent in group therapy or in your room, and if u have a nice one u might get to go outside

if you go to the one for kids, its really nice!! their foodz r great and they r rlly nice lolz

im not sure otherwise im only around 14 crying

it's boring as fuck but as long as you're put in a decent one, it's not horrible

gave me some time to force-reset my head when I was going through it. helped me push to get into group therapy. introduced me to Pineapple Express cause' that was what was on the tv and that movie is right up my ally lol

some of them let you bring stuff in like a sketchbook or a stuffed animal, ur phone, not all of them though (mine doesnt')

if you're concerned about anything the best you can do is ask staff about it! also I'd ask if you could bring in your phone and headphones, esp if you're uncomfortable with weird, offputting environments. Like someone else already said, it's very "backrooms"

It's not really bad exactly, it's just weird. There'll probably be a lot of fights, but it's a weird environment where everything will go back to normal pretty soon after the fight ends. Uhhh the staff will probably tell you to focus on recovery and not talking to people, but honestly they're probably not gonna help you much. I'd reccomend making a friend or two and just kinda,, waiting it out. When i was in one there would be people literally sobbing in the day room sometimes(usually me) and the staff would just ignore it.

it feels kinda unreal, so if you dissasociate that could be a problem. It has like,, the backrooms vibes

i probably made it sound not great, but i actually have some decent memories from the ward i was in, so you'll be okay<3
