Peyote with spikes?

I'm planning to make some black spiked cuffs (yellow beads being the spikes) to resemble Susie's spiked cuffs from Deltarune (She's my fav character from the series!!) The thing is, I'm still really new to beading, is it possible to add 3d spikes to a peyote cuff? A simple spike that's just 3 beads and it sticks out of the cuff.

Also, are there any better ways to make spikes on a peyote cuff that might stand up better/be more stable? I'd hate to spend a bunch of time making them and they break shock

yep! its possible with the peyote, multistitch (or horizontal peyote) will be easier though, since with the peyote you'll have to pull the beads in between the gaps and tie it from the inside, but with the multistitch/horizontal peyote you just have to run it through the next bead over.

i'm terrible at explaining stuff so here's a video that may help! it's for a spiked choker but if you shorten the number of beads on the base it should have the same outcome but just as a cuff. and you could just tie it off normally instead of using the clasp thingies. rainbowsmile /safe
