it's a term coined on (Twitter I think???) for when psychosis causes you to have delusions that you are a character. Similar to one of my common delusions (fallen angel) but if the fallen angel was already an OC or a character from a comic or something.

It's developed over the years to be a bit broader, it's still something caused by a distorted self image but it doesn't necessarily have to be a full on delusion yk? (I've taken to calling mine "attatchments" instead of DAs bcs of this)

So distorted self image (or something similar) leads you to see yourself as a character! Hope that explained it well

(it's important to note that, while this is not a medical term, it's still a good idea to like, talk to a good therapist about things like this if you experience them as it can point to some other stuff going on in your brain that might be good to get a better grasp on yk) (i found out I had BPD shortly after I started REALLY talking about things like this)
