She was a butch lesbian and a singer, who, according to her and many other people who were at the Stonewall riots, she got into a fight with some police which was the action that started the riots. Also Sappho. Most lesbians in history, honestly lol

trans drag queen and fought for gay rights. She also had a lot to do with the stonewall riot which was almost like a war?? It wasn't a war though it was just the LGBTQ and the popo fighting for gay rights (and the gays won)

[TW HOMOPHOBIA] Alan Turing. He cracked N*zi codes during WWII, and went on to basically invent the internet. He was also persecuted by the British government—despite being a national hero—and was only pardoned in the 2000s. He’s pretty cool—I did an entire paper on him for school last year
