Somehow my cuffs keep splitting in the middle...Help?

I'm not too sure why my cuffs are splitting in the middle, it has been every cuff since I tried making a pikachu cuff... If anyone can give some tips or help out that would be great <3

No I leave them round for photos, last time I fold a cuff it didn't go back to the original shape for some reason crying

They could just be a bit loose...or even loosen when you tie them off...I had that problem once and it turned out to be because I tied them off wrong and they loosened.

Do you fold your bracelets? like when you display then? if so that may be it. big grin

@TBTB13 I'm not too sure what size string/elastic it is but I'm guessing it is a bit think for the bracelets... I think i just need to practice more with the string happy thank you by the way! <3

it may be the way you are tying the knots in the elastic string you use. I had that happen to a cuff I made for my friend, split right across the middle

Are you pulling it tight every couple of beads? You may need to do that. Or maybe it's the string. What size string are you using?
