yuri on ice!!! my fav!!!! the intro is so good so enjoy ur first time listening to it :-D oo and death note, lucky star, how to keep a mummy, kami sama kiss, madoka magica, sk8 the infinity, horimiya, demon slayer, toilet bound hanako kun, fruits basket, one punch man, hunter x hunter, haikyuu, touken ranbu and karneval

Death Note, Ouran Highschool host club, Madoka Magica, and the my hero acidemia manga is amazing but the anime just dumbs it down. (also in october there is a anime called "Komi can't communicate coming out, and the manga is amazing so watch that too!!)

Here are some I'd recommend that I can think of rn! Just be cautious of some triggers you have!

Gory/Dark anime: Tokyo Ghoul, Demon Slayer, The Promised Neverland, Angels of Death, Death Note, Jujutsu Kaisen, Danganronpa

Comedy: Saiki-K

Sports: Haikyuu, Sk8 The Infinity, Free, Yuri On Ice

Fantasy ig: Fairytail, Hunter X Hunter, Blue Exorcist, Full Metal Alchemist, Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood, The Dragon Prince, My Hero Academia (It's good but some of the fandom is ehhhh, we're not all bad I promise)

idk what genre this is but here: Kakegurui, Ouran High School Host Club, Durarara

my favz like ever r defz death note, saiki k, and mob psycho 100 !! also hxh but thats like 100 episodez i think so id probz not start w it lolz. also b4 u watch smth i defz recommend that u look for tws on it before bc i got super uncomfy watching some things like perfect blue and ohshc.

I'm watching Toilet Bound Hanako-Kun atm and it's really good I'd reccomend it, you can watch it on hulu

my anime taste is weird as hell, but

if you like action/mecha type of stuff, i'd really recommend gurren lagann! it's also a pretty nice feel good show since the whole thing is about hope and believing in yourself

for media that turns ur brain off and is easy 2 watch, i really like kemono friends, it looks really bad (animation budget of 3 paper clips) but it's really sweet and pretty short!!!

i'm not rlly one to recommend this a lot but bungou to alchemist is fun, the game story is better but the anime is easier to consume

i second most of the recs on here except i'd like to warn you that the mangaka of black butler is kind of a creep and it shows in the treatment of children in both the anime and manga + attack on titan is full of antisemitism and imperialist propaganda so i'd watch out for those two. i'm surprised nobody's brought up mob psycho 100 yet but it's really good! once you've watched some more basic starters a personal favorite is kemono jihen but the fandom is tiny orz

also: subs over dubs nearly always! dubs tend to have less fitting voices and overall just not feel right imo. if you're a slow reader then i can understand not wanting to deal with subtitles but i reccommend subs when accessible ^_^
