pawbean 7/1/2021 07:41 pm 529

so i'm writing a letter to my parents that's basically gonna be my coming out (for the second time)

i'm gonna only come out half way tho, since i'm questioning my sexuality again but i'm certain on my gender now i feel like its a good time to tell them :]

i know basically what i want to say but if anyone has advice on things that would be helpful , that'd be great!! /g

make sure to be straight-forward about your pronouns/boundaries/thatcoolstuff !! im not sure what your parents are like but good or bad, they can be kinda small-brain sometimes and take things differently i guess? :0 but good luck !!!! big grinD

Just be confident! also ask them a couple questions to know if they are homophobic or not happyrainbowsmileeyeroll

if your parents are accepting then this won't apply to you but I had a bag packed and arranged to stay at a friends for a few nights when I came out incase I got kicked out or it just went wrong in general, luckily I didn't wind up needing that, if they are homophobic/transphobic I suggest you do something similar.

Maybe like (and this isn't exactly how u should put it lmao but)

"i'm still the same person at heart, and even though this is a big step for me i'd like to have you with me by my side"

or something like that-

Hope it helps aa TwT

(good luck btw ^^)
