ive noticed that transmasculine people are one of the main perpetrators of transmisogyny online. as a collective we need to stop speaking over transfems and actually listen to them when they speak about the difficulties they face. online trans spaces are so transmasc and tme centric - just look through the trans tag on tumblr. we need to do better. we need to uplift transfem voices. we need to be better allies

That's very true. As someone who is transmasc, I try to make ALL trans people feel comfortable and accepted. Transfems, other transmasc people, enbies, everyone. I don't think it's fair to tell people who they should be. I think it makes it even worst because it is men putting power over women and sexism which is horrible. And it's so sad since transfem people and enbies who don't get their voice heard as much as transmasc people have such great things to say.

This is a pretty spot on observation if I do say so myself.

A lot of my transfem friends don't even refer to themselves as trans and just call themselves women, its always (younger) transmascs that tell them they have to identify as trans or end up invalidating them in other ways.
