I recently found out I might have ADHD, but I feel like I might be wrong, What are common symptoms/experiences of people who have ADHD?

@pmknz: I don't have the resources rn to get officially diagnosed. I am only going by other's experiences and personal research on it, sorry if that is offensive. If im wrong, please tell me

one of my most obvious traits (at least to me) is time blindness. time doesn't really feel "real"? if that makes sense. its like, i understand that it happens but like amounts of time (such as like thirty minutes or like five minutes) feel longer or shorter than they are or i just dont comprehend it happening at all.

@Prussia: Ok so I actually have inattentive type. I tend to have a really hard time just sitting down and focusing on one thing. My mind will gradually start drifting, causing me to switch between tasks a lot. I kinda always feel like I'm in a fishbowl because of how my brain is processing stuff. It's hard to explain lol. I also hyperfixate A LOT. I get really really into things to the point where I'm thinking about it no matter what I'm doing. As PixytheFox said, it affects everyone differently.

@pmknz: well i dont see the problem with saying you "might" have ADHD, especially if you plan on / are working with professionals. could you explain why saying you might have it is bad?- an autistic person (diagnosed)

some less talked about symptoms i've had are:

struggling with a sense of time

executive dysfunction or weak executive function

taking rejection/insults to heart, even if they might not be meant as hurtful (rejection sensitive dysphoria)

I was professionally diagnosed when I was in like Pre-K but ADHD affects everyone diffrently

Like for me I have a hard time going over the same content multiple times, so like its hard for me to sit down and study

I almost constantly have to be doing something whether it be watching videos, doing schoolwork, drawing, etc.

i have no filter basically.
