Help (question mostly for transmasc people/cis guys)

So I'm a trans boy and this school year we didn't have to change for gym (whew). But next school year we will. Thankfully my school is supportive and will let me change in the boys locker room, but I'm extremely nervous. So I was wondering if any transmasc people who have changed in men's spaces have any advice, or cis men have any advice of like, locker room etiquette i guess. (Obviously if anyone else has any tips they can add in too I'm just assuming they'll have more advice. Also I'll be in 8th grade next year if it matters at all).

@d34d_em0_b0y: They do, but only in the nurse. They were originally going to make me change in there until I sent the principal an essay on the laws saying I can change in the boys locker room. It would make me super uncomfy to have to use the one in the nurse, but thanks anyway. And we're required to actually change so I can't wear my PE clothes under.

personally I just change in the gender neutral bathrooms (most schools have them i think) before going to PE. If theres no gender neutral bathrooms at ur school then just come to school with PE clothes under?? (sorry idk :p)

I probably should've mentioned I dress quite femininely. Like skirts earrings etc, I could just not wear the on PE days, (i only have it every other day) but Idk about the schedule in high school.

@spence_krash: Also everybody has to go in at the same time, but I could be one of the last ones to leave/actually change.

b confident, for a play i was required to use the girls tent to change so i whipped off my top and strutted my stuff (my binder) and everyone was pretty accepting, dont stare at other guys, i wouldnt make conversation, change fast, i would suggest going in first or last if your uncomfortable, or go in with a cis friend

i havent transitioned yet so i dont REALLY know but one of my friends r cis and this is what he told me; dont stare at the other guys, make sure to act like you belong there. [you do, just saying that you might feel like you dont], and just act confident. i hope this helps you !!!!!
